This position reports to the Operations Coordinator, providing backup and support for day-to-day operations, along with the development/delivery of training material to brokerage staff.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Assist in the development and presentation of training material relevant to the operations of the brokerage (i.e. MVRs, Transaction Training, Workflows, etc.)
• Help with onboarding new employees at the direction of the manager
• Assist with insurance company audits, to help identify training opportunities
• Help with the EDI process, as may required
• Assist in testing integration and new workflows in preparation for training
• Any other projects that may be assigned, at the direction of the Operations Coordinator or SVP
Knowledge, skills, and requirements:
• Must have a RIBO licence, active and in good standing
• Prior experience as a Customer Service Representative would be considered an asset
• Experience in EPIC and Applied Rating is required
• Must have own vehicle and be willing to travel to branch offices, as required
• Should have a working knowledge/understanding of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Computer competent with the ability to pick up new concepts quickly
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Effective and concise communication
• Problem-solving with effective planning and organizational skills
• May be asked to participate in "Train the Trainer" courses, to enhance presentation skills
• Prior experience delivering both in-person and virtual training is an asset
• Prior experience creating recorded/video content is an asset
