Supported by a dedicated workforce of around 10,000 people at over 40 locations worldwide, they supply over 140 countries and serve industries beyond traditional automotive applications.

Currently, the company is expanding its operations with a new state-of-the-art facility in the Upstate, SC—where advanced processes like steel stamping, welding, and injection molding will support groundbreaking production for major OEMs.

Summary:

The strategic Supply Chain Manager will optimize and oversee end-to-end supply chain operations and ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality service while leading key initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with hands-on experience in optimizing material planning, inventory control, and logistics within the automotive industry. This could also be a seasoned logistics manager ready to advance their career in a manufacturing-driven supply chain environment.

 

Tasks:

·         Provide strong leadership by cultivating a positive work environment, mentoring team members for success, and driving strategic initiatives.

·         Manage warehouse operations, material flows, and dispatch processes.

·         Oversee resource planning and team leadership to foster a positive work environment.

·         Optimize supply chain and logistics processes for efficiency.

·         Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy.

·         Address quality issues with suppliers.

·         Implement lean methodology and Six Sigma for continuous improvements.

·         Ensure compliance with customs

·         Negotiate vendor contracts

 

Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent relevant work experience)

·         Proven experience in supply chain management with expertise in best practices.

·         Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

·         ERP system proficiency (SAP preferred).

·         10% travel with possibility of international travel
