The Manufacturing Engineer will be located at our client’s location near Shelby, NC. 

The ideal candidate will have related experience in the automotive industry.  

(Reports to the CEO directly) 



As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, directing and coordinating of manufacturing processes in a manufacturing plant.  



  • Develop, evaluate, and enhance manufacturing methods; provide training to employees. 

  • Create and maintain jigs and fixturing for welding and assembly. 

  • Manage bill of materials and communicate changes via Manufacturing Change Order Process. 

  • Conduct time studies for process improvement and develop schedules for departments. 

  • Lead Kaizen events and estimate production times, staffing needs, and costs for management decision-making. 



  • Analytical: Synthesize complex information; conduct data research. 

  • Project Management: Develop and coordinate project plans; ensure timely and budgeted completion. 

  • Teamwork: Foster group commitments and morale to achieve goals. 

  • Change Management: Develop and monitor implementation plans; assess outcomes. 



  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/manufacturing/industrial engineering. 

  • 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • Proficiency in technical data interpretation, schematics, and drawings. 

  • Strong communication skills for written and verbal correspondence. 

  • Mathematical proficiency and ability to interpret graphs. 

  • Problem-solving ability in standardized situations, gaining trust of manufacturing personnel. 

  • Basic data entry skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and drafting skills. 

  • Mechanical aptitude, understanding of electrical and mechanical processes, assembly techniques, and hand tool use.
