Our client is actively seeking a 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift Injection Molding- Process Technician at their plant in Greenville, South Carolina.

The ideal candidate should be confident troubleshooting Injection Molding machines and have 3+ years process experience in the automotive industry.  

Summary: 

As an Injection Molding - Process Technician, you'll be responsible for identifying and overseeing production machinery parameters, monitoring product/batch quality, and ensuring the production process runs smoothly and efficiently.

Tasks: 

·       Support daily production as required to ensure operation at budgeted rates.  

·       Provide daily process support to eliminate quality concerns. 

·       Provide daily process support to eliminate reliability concerns. 

·       Provide daily process support to eliminate housekeeping concerns. 

·       Demonstrated leadership skills, teamwork skills, communication skills and decision-making skills. 

·       Willingness to learn new skills. 

·       Responsible for performing work to ensure quality and conformity to product requirements. 

·       High level of initiative and self-motivation. 

·       Maintain positive attitude and strive for employee engagement. 

·       Responsible for performing work to ensure quality and conformity to product requirements. 

·       Leverage continuous improvement tools (LEAN and Six Sigma) as necessary to eliminate waste. 

·       Set metrics for each work cell to achieve and track results. 

·       Must learn and use proficiently the IQMS system. 

·       Must be proficient in various robotic applications. 

Requirements: 

• 3+ years’ experience with injection molding tools required.
• 3+ years of automotive industry process experience required.
• Must know how to troubleshoot injection molding machines and tools.
• Understand how to set parameters.
• Experience with electric IM Machines preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. 
• Must be able to communicate in English. 
• Intermediate computer skills - MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to maintain excellent written/electronic quality documentation. 
• Ability to learn computer-based support system.
