About the Role:

Our Award-Winning Client, a nationally recognized organization with an extensive track record of success, is seeking an experienced InfoSec Analyst to provide expertise in information security management and policy implementation. This position offers an opportunity to lead critical security initiatives while ensuring compliance with key regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Training and Development:
    • Design and update training materials, including syllabi, presentations, and hard-copy reference packets, to align with updated classification and declassification policies.
    • Conduct virtual or in-person INFOSEC training sessions for staff, including state-level JFHQs, and facilitate audits and staff assistance visits.
    • Track training participation and report on deficiencies bi-annually and as required.
  • Policy and Procedure Support:
    • Conduct detailed gap analyses on Government best practices and provide recommendations for enhancing operational security functions.
    • Draft routine revisions to INFOSEC policies, classification procedures, and declassification guidelines for Government review.
    • Analyze classification and declassification requests, referencing Executive Orders, DoD manuals, and other directives, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Security Classification Guides (SCGs):
    • Develop and maintain protocols and standardized text for SCGs.
    • Provide guidance and reference materials related to SCGs for inquiries from NGB and JFHQ-State.
  • Declassification and Reporting:
    • Conduct monthly Automatic Declassification Reviews (ADRs), analyze findings, and recommend actions for exempted or agency-related materials.
    • Prepare mandatory reports on classification and declassification actions on a quarterly basis.
  • Original Classification Authority (OCA) Management:
    • Maintain records of OCA appointments, provide annual updates, and brief newly assigned OCAs on their responsibilities.
    • Document and attend OCA-related meetings, steering committees, and working groups.
  • Administrative and Research Functions:
    • Support NGB-PA requests by conducting research on relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines.
    • Prepare draft recommendations and references for Government actions and decisions, including responses to requests through staff action tools (TMT).

Required Skills and Certifications:

  • TS/SCI Clearance (active and current).
  • INFOSEC Training expertise.
  • Experience in operational functions related to information security management.
  • Extensive knowledge of Executive Orders, DoD regulations, and mandatory classification and declassification review programs.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
