Our client in New Hampshire is seeking qualified industry experienced (GM or above at a commercial laundry/linen/uniform service operation) candidates for great opportunity with growing private company.
Commercial laundry/linen service experience is required.
Client is seeking a Chief Operations Officer (COO) to oversee internal operations, production, engineering/maintenance, sales, service, customer retention, inventory, financial performance, and more.
Reporting to the Owner, you will have full operational responsibility including P&L, team management and development, and strategic decisions.
Top 3 Responsibilities:
Managing budgets and P&L to ensure profitable operations and continuous improvement at all of the company's facilities (plants and service centers)
Developing your team which includes Director of Plant Operations, Facilities/Maintenance Manager, Sales Manager, Director of Service, and Human Resources Manager. Continually train and develop the team and hold them accountable to goals.
Driving for results, which include P&L performance, PPOH, Labor percentage, Utility utilization/costs, Order fill rates, Safety performance, Condition of plant and equipment, Accurate reporting, Team/culture satisfaction
Requirements:
Must have 5+ years of GM level (or higher) experience in the commercial laundry industry
Bachelor's degree or higher
Demonstrated ability to lead, train and manage a team's performance
Demonstrated knowledge of plant operation methods, equipment, techniques, engineering and maintenance
Lean / Six Sigma experience is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Windows applications especially Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Willing and able to roll up your sleeves and get the job done
