Our client, a reputable family-owned linen and uniform rental company serving Indiana, Michigan, and Kentucky, is seeking an experienced Plant Manager for their commercial laundry facility in Warsaw, IN.

This leader will oversee all production operations, drive a strong safety-first culture, improve plant efficiency, and develop a high-performing production team. The Plant Manager will be responsible for meeting operational goals, ensuring consistent quality, and supporting the company’s long-term growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily production operations with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Build and reinforce a safety-first culture, ensuring all training is completed on schedule and safety practices are followed.
  • Meet or exceed key plant performance metrics including PPOH, plant efficiency, and hourly production standards.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions that support safe and efficient operations.
  • Manage the plant’s operational and capital budgets and deliver results within approved targets.
  • Train, coach, and develop the production leadership team, including creating and executing individual development plans.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with peers across the organization and support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Oversee equipment operation and maintenance to ensure uptime and output goals are met.
  • Partner with HR and Training teams to support onboarding, staffing, and employee development.
  • Uphold company values and maintain a professional, respectful work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including occasional travel to nearby company locations.

Other Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Plant Manager or Production Manager experience in a high-volume commercial laundry environment (required).
  • Proven leadership experience managing production teams in a fast-paced plant setting.
  • Strong understanding of laundry production methods, equipment, and workflow.
  • Experience with safety compliance and safety program execution.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and plant-related software (Softrol/ABS preferred).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred.
  • Ability to work in a physical environment requiring standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting.
  • Willing to relocate to Warsaw, IN if not local, with relocation assistance provided.
