Seeking qualified and experienced (3+ years quota-driven B2B sales experience - preferably in a service industry) sales candidates for great opportunity with growing private company, serving the healthcare industry with textiles (linen, uniforms, etc).
 
Client is seeking a dedicated and aggressive Outside Sales Representative in the NYC area that will have an immediate impact on growth. Sales representatives are assigned to an exclusive territory and will partner with a wide range of clients in the medical/healthcare sector. Customers range from clinics to surgery centers to hospitals.
 
Territory includes:
  • Lower Manhattan
  • Queens
Client's current sales team has the lowest turnover by far within the industry and their success year in and year out is known nationally as best in class within our industry.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet and exceed sales objectives/quotas
  • Identify prospective customers/generate leads via cold-calling, trade shows and
  • networking
  • Maintain an active sales funnel (prospecting, cold calls, appointments)
  • Expand client’s already vast pipeline of National Account customers and prospects

Requirements

  • 3+ years of quota-driven sales experience in a role that required prospecting for new business
  • Industry experience a plus but not required
  • Must exhibit superior prospecting, presentation and closing skills
  • Proven history of success in outside sales
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation and desire to succeed
  • Familiar with NYC area market
  • Clean drivers license
  • Ability to work from home 1 day per week, and in the field the remainder of the week
  • Candidates should: be organized, possess excellent planning and follow-up skills, be outgoing, friendly, and positive, be able to multitask, have a passion for excellence, have a passion to lead teams to produce a high level of performance
