Title: Regional Sales Manager – East CoastLocation: East Coast-based (Preferred: NY, NJ, MA, PA, DC, MD, VA, GA)Industry: Molecular Diagnostics

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving test adoption, territory expansion, and strategic account development in a defined East Coast region. This role requires a motivated, consultative seller who thrives in a dynamic, science-driven environment and can engage effectively with urologists, oncologists, and integrated health systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team

  • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence

  • Managing recruiting, objective setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives

  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team

  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

  • Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets

  • Identify and cultivate new business with urology groups, oncology practices, and healthcare networks

  • Deliver effective clinical education on the test’s utility, performance data, and reimbursement model

  • Conduct in-services, case presentations, and workflow consultations to support account implementation

  • Partner cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Reimbursement, Marketing, and Operations

  • Attend key conferences and regional events to increase awareness and drive engagement

  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and relevant clinical research

 

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of field sales experience in diagnostics, molecular testing, or specialty lab services

  • Proven ability to drive new business and manage large, complex accounts in urology, oncology, or health systems

  • Strong clinical and technical selling skills; ability to simplify genomic data for physician audiences

  • Experience with product launches, market development, and KOL engagement

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently in a high-growth environment

  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and organizational skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced science or business degree preferred
