We are seeking a talented and driven Civil/Site Design Engineer to join our dynamic Planning and Site Design Department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from residential and commercial developments to educational facilities. As a key contributor, you will play a crucial role in the design and development process from initial concept through to final approval. Your expertise will support critical functions such as stormwater management, grading, erosion and sediment control, and compliance with state and local design standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage comprehensive site design projects.
  • Conduct thorough site investigations and research applicable standards.
  • Develop stormwater management, grading, and erosion control plans.
  • Draft and design site layouts using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Ensure compliance and secure necessary regulatory permits and zoning approvals.
  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in PA preferred; Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) required.
  • 4 to 10+ years of relevant experience in land development and site design.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiar with stormwater management, grading, and utility design.
  • Experience with regulatory permitting processes (NPDES) and zoning approvals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and a commitment to quality and precision.
