We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer who will oversee complex mechanical design initiatives and offer expert technical guidance. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing and approving intricate mechanical projects, formulating design strategies for central plant systems, and providing technical leadership to the team. You will also mentor junior engineers, address construction challenges, and maintain effective communication with clients and contractors. This role involves working on diverse multi-unit residential projects, with a focus on designing systems that ensure safety, comfort, and energy efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Professional engineering license in Ontario (P.Eng.) with over 10 years of design experience in the building construction industry, including at least 5 years in Canada.
• Extensive experience in designing multi-unit residential projects, particularly with central plant and DDC control systems.
• Thorough understanding of relevant codes and standards such as OBC, ASHRAE, CSA, and ASPE.
• Exceptional communication skills, strong problem-solving capabilities, and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Proficient in organizing, multitasking, and thriving under tight deadlines.
