We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Executive specializing in manufacturing to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role focuses on expanding our presence in the construction and footwear industries through strategic sales initiatives and exceptional customer engagement. The position offers the opportunity to work remotely after an initial ramp-up period, with a preference for candidates based in the New England region to facilitate periodic office visits in Rochester, NH.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and ongoing collaboration.
  • Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities to drive company growth and market presence.
  • Market Strategy: Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets within the construction and manufacturing sectors.
  • Industry Engagement: Represent the company at industry events and trade shows, enhancing market visibility and generating leads.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, product development, and logistics teams to ensure successful project implementation and client satisfaction.
  • Sales Planning: Provide regular sales forecasts and updates to senior management, supporting strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Competitor Insight: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales tactics and strategy adjustments.
  • Customer Support: Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high service levels.
  • Lead Generation: Create and execute innovative strategies for identifying and engaging prospective clients.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of B2B sales experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical knowledge in textiles, polymer materials, coatings, and related products is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of successful sales in waterproofing, sealants, polymer coatings, or toll coating solutions.
  • Exceptional consultative sales skills and a history of closing complex deals.
  • Strong project management capabilities, from lead generation to project completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to both in-person and online interactions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel 50–60%, with occasional international trips.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport for travel requirements.
