We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Municipal Project Engineer to join our team in Hillsborough, NJ. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in municipal engineering to enhance community infrastructure and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the municipal client representative for Township or Borough engineering projects.
• Attend municipal meetings to provide expert input and guidance.
• Manage projects by reviewing development plans to ensure compliance with local ordinances, covering subdivisions, land development, zoning, grading, stormwater management, and more.
• Design engineering solutions for stormwater systems, detention basins, and infrastructure rehabilitation, while navigating state and local permitting processes.
• Prepare technical documents including memos, feasibility studies, and engineering reports.
• Provide construction support services such as contract administration, project coordination, permitting, and budget management.
• Leverage previous experience in municipal account management to retain and develop client relationships.
• Engage in business development activities to promote growth in municipal and utility engineering sectors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in municipal engineering and project management.
• Proficiency in Municipal Client Representation, Subdivision and Land Development Plan Review, Stormwater/Drainage Plan Review, and Public Works Design.
• Familiarity with MS-4 Programs, including PRPs, is essential.
• Some experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.
• Must hold a Professional Engineer registration in NJ; CME registration is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
