We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Safety Supervisor to join our team in Miami, Florida. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential for this role.

This full-time position is critical in ensuring the safety and well-being of all staff and facilities. The selected candidate will lead efforts to maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary contact for all onsite health and safety matters, collaborating with management to implement safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, state regulations, and corporate safety standards through regular monitoring.
• Conduct thorough site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective measures.
• Lead investigations into incidents and develop preventive strategies based on root cause analysis.
• Work closely with supervisors and employees to promote the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe working practices.
• Organize and deliver comprehensive safety training, including orientation for new hires and ongoing education programs.
• Oversee workers’ compensation claims and facilitate effective return-to-work programs.
• Maintain precise safety records and documentation for internal and regulatory purposes.
• Collaborate with environmental staff to conduct necessary testing and support inspections.
• Participate in emergency preparedness planning and lead safety committee activities.

Qualifications:

• Fluency in both English and Spanish with strong communication skills in both languages.
• Proven leadership experience in safety management within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards and safety auditing practices.
• Experience in facilitating training sessions and leading safety investigations.
• Preferred qualification: OSHA 30 Certification or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence individuals at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in managing safety documentation and utilizing management systems.
• Flexibility to adjust work hours as needed to address operational and safety demands.
