Compensation: $38 per hourShift Availability: 2nd or 3rd
2nd: 2:30 pm to 10:00 pm
3rd: 10:00 pm to 6:30 am
Hours: Ability to work extended hours, including daily overtime and occasional weekends
Role Overview
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician II, you will play a vital role in maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of industrial systems. Your responsibilities will include testing and ensuring the proper functioning of machines and equipment during production, as well as responding swiftly to any issues that arise.
Essential Functions
· Adhere to all safety and company policies, actively contributing to a safe work environment.
· Perform regular preventative maintenance, startups, and installations of parts according to machine manuals.
· Conduct non-routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various types and brands of equipment.
· Visually inspect and listen to machines to diagnose malfunctions.
· Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics for mechanical repairs.
· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and fluid power systems.
· Mentor and coach less experienced personnel as needed.
· Basic knowledge of PLC (Allen Bradley) is preferred.
Daily Physical Demands
· Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
· Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolds, and to bend or crawl into tight spaces.
· Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.
· Navigate job sites in various weather conditions, including wet and slippery surfaces.
· Wear job-specific PPE as required.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or maintenance setting, or a technical degree in an Industrial Maintenance field with 5+ years of hands-on experience.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
· Effective communication skills at all levels, both verbal and written.
· Basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Google Suite (G Suite).
