Compensation: $36 per hour

Shift availability 2nd or 3rd

Ability to work extended hours, including daily overtime and occasional weekends

Role: Industrial Maintenance Technician II

Job Overview: As an Industrial Maintenance Technician II, you will play a vital role in maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of industrial systems. You will be responsible for testing and ensuring the proper functioning of machines and equipment during production, responding swiftly to any issues that arise.

Essential Functions:

·        Follow all safety and company policies, actively participating in creating a safe work environment.

·        Perform regular preventative maintenance, startups, and installation of parts per machine manuals.

·        Conduct non-routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various types and brands of equipment.

·        Visually inspect and listen to machines to diagnose malfunctions.

·        Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to repair mechanical components.

·        Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and fluid power systems.

·        Mentor and coach less experienced personnel as appropriate.

·        Basic PLC (Allen Bradley) (preferred)

 

Daily Physical Demands:

·        Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

·        Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolds, and bend or crawl into awkward spaces.

·        Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.

·        Traverse job sites in various weather conditions, including wet and slippery surfaces.

·        Wear job-specific PPE as required.

 

Qualifications:

·        High School Diploma or GED with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or maintenance setting and a technical degree in an Industrial Maintenance field or 5 + years of hands on experience.

·        Valid driver’s license.

·        Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

·        Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing.

·        Basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Google Suite (G Suite).
