We are recruiting on purpose an accomplished and entrepreneurial Engineering Market Leader to spearhead the launch and growth of our new Dallas office. You will balance hands-on structural engineering with leadership in client development, proposal strategy, market expansion, and office operations. Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Client Management

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to market presence in Dallas.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and industry stakeholders.

  • Represent the firm at client meetings, networking events, and industry functions to elevate brand visibility.

  • Lead or support proposal development, qualifications packages, and marketing efforts with support from internal teams.

  • Secure work from existing clients across various sectors.

  • Recruit, mentor, and build a high-performing team to support long-term office growth.

Structural Engineering & Project Leadership

  • Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) and project manager on structural engineering projects.

  • Oversee the development of construction documents, specifications, schedules, and technical deliverables.

  • Coordinate cross-discipline information to ensure quality and consistency in all project outputs.

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop integrated, innovative solutions.

  • Perform technical design and review work, including calculations, BIM/AutoCAD review, and submittal management.

  • Manage office operations including staffing forecasts, budgeting, and work sharing in partnership with company leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.

  • PE license required; SE license a plus.

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in structural engineering with a proven record of project execution.

  • Minimum 3+ years in business development or client-facing roles.

  • Strong working knowledge of structural design software (RAM, RISA, EnerCalc, Adapt, Microsoft Suite).

  • Experience with ETABS, Tekla Structural Designer, and Revit preferred.

  • Deep understanding of building codes and structural standards.

  • Financial acumen and understanding of business operations.

  • Established network within the Dallas AEC industry highly preferred.

  • Experience in Data Centers, Industrial, Life Sciences, or Manufacturing sectors is a plus.
