Our client, a local organization dedicated to supporting immigrant and refugee families, seeks a passionate and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic financial leadership and budgeting.
• Manage grant budgets and ensure compliance with grantors' guidelines.
• Oversee financial reporting, audits, and tax filings.
• Manage payroll, human resources (HR), and IT functions.
• Ensure adherence to accounting principles and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA or MBA a plus).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
• Proven experience managing grants and ensuring compliance.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with financial reporting software (QuickBooks preferred).
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
