Our client, an international AmLaw 50 law firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its premier Employment Litigation Practice in NY. This is an exceptional opportunity for a mid-level associate to handle complex employment disputes and provide strategic advice to leading clients in the financial services and asset management industries.
Candidate Profile

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record

Active Bar Admission in New York, in good standing

3-4 years of substantive employment litigation and counseling experience
- Experience litigating employment matters and advising on employment issues, including discrimination, retaliation, restrictive covenants, and executive employment agreements
- Experience with clients in the alternative asset management industry, including hedge funds and private equity funds, is strongly preferred
- Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to interface directly with clients and deliver practical, business-focused advice
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to superior client service
Key Responsibilities

Manage and support complex employment litigation matters in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies

Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery materials, and participate in depositions, hearings, and settlement negotiations
- Advise employers on workplace law issues, including compliance, investigations, risk management, and policy development
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to address employment issues arising in transactions or corporate governance matters

Conduct in-depth legal research and provide guidance on evolving employment law trends and regulations

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $260,000-$310,000 annually, as determined by experience and market factors
