Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a skilled mid-level Associate Attorney to join their Intellectual Property Practice Group in Atlanta, Boston, or Washington, DC. Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.

• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.

• 4+ years of substantive experience in intellectual property litigation.

• Technical Background: A degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field is strongly preferred.

• PTAB Experience: Prior experience with post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated experience managing and executing all phases of complex IP litigation, including pleadings, discovery, expert reports, depositions, and trial preparation.

• Able to contribute effectively to a team while also taking initiative and working independently.

• Soft Skills: Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, alongside strategic thinking and sound judgment.

Key Responsibilities

• Case Management: Represent clients in high-stakes patent litigation matters in federal court and before the PTAB.

• Technical Analysis: Translate complex technical concepts into persuasive legal arguments, working closely with clients and expert witnesses.

• Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients in the technology, life sciences, and manufacturing sectors, providing strategic IP counsel.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with attorneys across practice areas to deliver holistic IP solutions that align with business goals.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary: $275,000 – $305,000, commensurate with experience.
