Job Title: Regional Staff Accountant

Role Summary

Your role as the Regional Staff Accountant will support the ministry of the Catholic parish's financial services. You will be responsible for handling all accounting tasks related to parish and other organization's accounting needs.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Manage the invoice process including the audit of necessary documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Track all credit card activity.
• Reconcile all accounts payable activity with general ledger.
• Manages all payroll process and run payroll on time.
• Manages income accounting process.
• Manage and prepare for month-end close.
• Prepare and distribute regular financial reports to managing staff.
• Provides monthly budget-to-actual information for department heads.
• Other duties assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• Must maintain confidentiality.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent with experience.
• 3+ years experience in standard accounting practices, office procedures, and business etiquette.
• Fully supportive and energetic attitude toward the Church, her teachings, and her work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills.
