Job Title: BCBA / QBHP – Mental & Behavioral Health Assisted Living

Location: Flint, MISalary: Competitive, based on experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) or Qualified Behavioral Health Professionals (QBHPs) to join our mental and behavioral health assisted living team in Flint, MI. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality behavioral support services, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve the well-being of residents with mental health, developmental disabilities, and behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Provide direct behavioral therapy and implement evidence-based interventions.
  • Train and support caregivers, direct care staff, and other team members in behavior management strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze data to track client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Offer crisis intervention support when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and facility guidelines.
  • Ensure ethical and professional standards of practice are upheld at all times.

Qualifications:

  • For BCBA: Must have a current BCBA certification and be in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • For QBHP: Degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field. Must be Board Certified as Behavior Analyst or meet the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) guidelines for QBHP
  • Experience working with adult individuals with mental illness, developmental disabilities, autism, or challenging behaviors.
  • Strong understanding of ABA principles and behavioral intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an assisted living or residential mental health setting.
  • Knowledge of Michigan mental health policies and Medicaid regulations.
  • Crisis intervention and de-escalation training (e.g., CPI, PMT, or similar certification).
