Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct cost analysis to assess and optimize the implications of various communication technologies, considering long-term support and warranty factors.
• Manage relationships with key vendors to ensure continuous support and supply chain efficiency, addressing risks and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal design teams and purchasing to ensure alignment with product initiatives.
• Review and evaluate project specifications, ensuring technical requirements and industry standards are met.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks related to commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components, including obsolescence, compatibility, and long-term support issues.
• Collaborate with internal compliance and testing teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards in both U.S. and international markets.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support product development efforts.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong understanding of electrical controls and communications technology.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to ensure accuracy in analysis and evaluation.
• Familiarity with COTS components (hardware, software, and networking) and their integration into complex systems.
• Experience in project management to ensure timely delivery of product development goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with teams and vendors.
• Ability to evaluate technical specifications, vendor documentation, and compliance requirements.
