We are looking to hire a REGIONAL SALES MANAGER for the Florida market and need this person to reside near Miami, FL.
Regional Sales Manager position
This person needs to reside in the near Miami, FL area and occassionally travel to NC and AL and attend trade shows. Primary Target of a Regional Sales Manager is to lead sales teams to reach sales targets. This is the high level description: • Recruit, hire, and train sales team • Set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed (as rule of thumb - 30% yearly increase). • Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts • Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment • Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as neededThis is a more detailed description: 1. Manage all reps in the territory, helping them close deals and answering all their phone calls. 2. Identify competition in any form and size that is a threat to the company and act on it immediately. Once identified, control the threat. 3. Constantly evaluating performances of all reps, scouting for new reps and covering territories temporarily without a rep. 4. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly & yearly work plan. 5. Prepare & analyze sales reports (past years and current) & provide Reps on regular basis solid information on accounts that have increased/decreased in sales volume. 6. Daily ride-along with each rep to visit customers and assist in closing deals, offering solutions for issues, assisting the rep in utilizing their time wisely to gain business. 7. Once a week deep conversation with each rep (Friday or Monday) to discuss the week that past and week ahead and set work plan and targets. 8. Performing business development, scouting & looking for high profile, high volume, game changers accounts across different industries and develop them (hotels, designers, construction, developers etc.). 9. Managing personally key company accounts (mainly house accounts). 10. Overlook performance of operations to make sure customers are being serviced right and with minimal mistakes (to be discussed with branch manager and VP sales). 11. Approve installations of samples displays in stores ONLY after being convinced we have a sales guarantee customer.
