JOB DESCRIPTION:The Converting Manager will be responsible for providing true leadership to the converting department that operates 2 shifts across 5 days / week. Supporting the extrusion department on identifying areas for improvement. Training and implementing best practices across theconverting side of the operation.
Location: Grand Rapids, MI area - Known for reasonable cost of living, a dynamic mid size city, good schools and many outdoor activities.

To be successful in this critical role:● You will need extensive experience in plastic film converting technologies with a preference for bag making, flexible packaging, or similar.● Leadership experience with a passion for training and developing a team.● Ability to thrive in a relatively flat, mid size company environment without unnecessary bureaucracy.● Blown film extrusion exposure, knowledge or experience is a plus, but not required.
