About the RoleWe are seeking a Compliance Engineer to ensure our products and systems meet all applicable regulatory, safety, and environmental standards. This role will partner closely with engineering, product management, operations, and external agencies to ensure our solutions are safe, reliable, and fully compliant with industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret, track, and apply relevant regulations, standards, and certifications (e.g., UL, IEC, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, ISO, OSHA, FCC, NEMA, CE, RoHS, REACH).

• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to ensure designs meet compliance requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

• Develop and maintain compliance documentation, including test plans, reports, and technical files.

• Coordinate and support product testing with external laboratories, certification bodies, and regulatory agencies.

• Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and gap analyses to identify areas of improvement in compliance processes.

• Monitor regulatory updates and emerging standards in renewable energy, charging infrastructure, and grid interconnection.

• Support quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on compliance-related topics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Compliance/Regulatory Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory engineering, or product certification (renewable energy, automotive, or electrical equipment industries preferred).

• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and compliance certification processes.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
