We are seeking a Manager of IT Procurement to oversee the acquisition of technology goods and services. Reporting directly to the CIO, this role is critical to sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and supporting enterprise-wide technology needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and select vendors for IT hardware, software, and related services based on cost, quality, and reliability.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with technology suppliers and service providers.

  • Manage vendor onboarding, performance reviews, and improvement initiatives.

  • Negotiate contracts, renewals, and amendments in collaboration with IT leadership, Vendor Management Office (VMO), and contract counsel.

  • Monitor budgets, spending patterns, and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Track supplier performance (delivery, quality, service levels) and conduct business reviews with strategic vendors.

  • Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, invoices, and compliance documentation.

  • Oversee equipment leasing lifecycle (scheduling, reporting, returns, asset management).

  • Manage software license keys and coordinate with Accounts Payable on invoicing and vendor inquiries.

  • Utilize ServiceNow for purchase requests and inventory tracking.

  • Support Finance & Accounting with audit reporting as needed.

  • Promote compliance with procurement policies and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Supply Chain, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT procurement, sourcing, or vendor management (professional services experience preferred).

  • Proven negotiation skills with a record of achieving cost savings and favorable terms.

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.

  • Solid understanding of IT hardware, software, cloud services, and industry trends.

  • Proficiency with procurement systems, data analytics tools, and advanced Excel.

  • Strong communication skills with ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Familiarity with supply agreements, contractual terms, and relationship management best practices.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $150,000 – $175,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and location.

  • Annual discretionary bonus opportunity.
