A fast-growing start-up tech firm is looking for an Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer. The company recently crossed a $150M revenue run rate and have averaged 59% month over month growth for the last 6 months, making them the fastest growing company in the world. Due to this growth spurt the role requires long hours including part of Saturdays. The vibe is upbeat and energetic and functions like a group of motivated friends. The dress code is casual – jeans OK. Great perks including $1000 a month for meals, a $10K housing bonus (if you live within 0.5 miles of the office), $20K relocation bonus (if moving to the Bay Area) and free gym membership and pays 100% of the basic health plan, equity, and quarterly bonuses up to 5% of salary. This is a new position. The office has 60 employees and is located in the financial district. Think of this as an apprenticeship where you’ll get to see how a fast-growing company actually runs.
About the Job:
¨ Vet and prioritize the COO’s emails and draft responses
¨ Keep the COO on track
¨ Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations
¨ Interface with customers, vendors, candidates, and other external parties on behalf of the COO
¨ Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
¨ Screen incoming phone calls delivering detailed, timely messages to the appropriate parties
¨ Proactively manage daily calendar, identifying and mitigation potential conflicts
¨ Schedule and prepare for
¨ Schedule internal and external meetings
¨ Coordinate complex travel arrangements including flights, cars, hotels, and other reservations and manage private aviation to identify and mitigate potential travel disruptions whenever possible
¨ Process expense reports
¨ Assist with personal scheduling and run errands when needed
¨ Ad hoc projects as needed
About You:
¨ Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a related support position (consulting, finance, startups a plus)
¨ BA/BS from a college or university
¨ Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
¨ Dynamic and proactive comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
¨ Polished, professional demeanor
¨ Proactive go-getter; no task is too big or too small
¨ Outstanding communication skills

Hours: Mon-Fri: 9am-9pm plus organizing onsite meetings on Saturdays
