LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

BUSINESS LITIGATION / MEDICAL MALPRACTICE

Our client, a prominent AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a talented Litigation Associate Attorney with experience in business litigation and/or medical malpractice to join its New Jersey office. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a highly collaborative trial litigation team handling complex matters across multiple jurisdictions.

 

 

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in New Jersey AND New York, in good standing
  • 2–4 years of substantive litigation experience, including business and/or medical malpractice matters
  • Experience handling matters in federal and state courts
  • Prior judicial clerkship strongly preferred
  • Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a team-oriented mindset and capacity to work independently when needed
  • Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and demonstrated commitment to client service
 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on complex litigation across business and medical malpractice matters
  • Conduct discovery, including depositions, document review, and written discovery
  • Draft and argue motions, briefs, and other filings in state (NJ, NY, PA, FL) and federal courts
  • Support trial preparation and trial proceedings
  • Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and litigation team members

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: Expected annual salary range of $165,000-$175,000, as determined by experience and market factors
