This opportunity involves working within a team renowned for its comprehensive transactional tax planning services, risk management counseling, and representation before the IRS and state/local tax authorities.

As a junior associate, you will play a pivotal role in advising clients on the latest tax legislation and regulations, contributing to the development of tax policy, and representing clients before Congress, the Department of the Treasury, and other governmental bodies.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in transactional tax.
  • Exemplary research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently, creatively, and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience with significant cross-border tax structures and transactions preferred, including U.S. tax aspects of inbound/outbound transactions, M&A, financing transactions, subchapter C, and partnerships/joint ventures.
  • Outstanding academic credentials and references are essential.
  • Must be licensed, or eligible to become licensed, to practice law in New York.
