Trick Dog Technology is a nationwide technology integrator specializing in physical security systems, access control, and low-voltage infrastructure. As we expand our operations in Florida, we’re seeking a Project Manager who can take ownership of complex security integration projects from kickoff through completion.

 

This is a dynamic role ideal for someone with field experience in low-voltage systems who’s ready to step into a leadership position overseeing project execution, vendor coordination, and client communication.

 

What You'll Do

  • Lead the planning and execution of access control and physical security projects, ensuring they’re delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Coordinate directly with clients, technicians, and subcontractors to align expectations, resolve issues, and keep work progressing smoothly
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, floor plans, and job scopes to support planning and resource allocation
  • Manage project documentation including installation photos, change orders, and progress reports using tools like Smartsheet or similar
  • Support field teams by organizing schedules, prioritizing tasks, and providing escalation support for troubleshooting and remote diagnostics
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Oversee quality control, perform job closeouts, and conduct post-installation reviews to ensure project standards are met
  • Assist in scoping future projects, estimating labor and materials, and contributing to bid development when needed

 

 What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination or management within low-voltage, security, or systems integration industries
  • Strong understanding of access control and surveillance hardware (e.g., Verkada, Lenel, Openpath, Brivo)
  • Familiarity with low-voltage infrastructure, including PoE networking, door hardware, and cable management
  • Confident communicator with the ability to lead internal teams and interface directly with clients and vendors
  • Highly organized, deadline-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient with project management software and reporting tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Trello, or similar)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to visit job sites as needed
  • Ability to travel occasionally for project kickoffs, inspections, or regional support

 

 Nice to Have (Not Required):

  • Experience managing subcontractors and remote field teams
  • OSHA 10/30 Certification or relevant safety training
  • Verkada Certification or related manufacturer credentials
  • Background in systems engineering, remote support, or technical sales
