We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Engineer III - Nutanix to join our Consulting Services team. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and support of Nutanix-based hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) solutions.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Nutanix technologies, virtualization, storage, and cloud integration, and will play a key role in driving infrastructure modernization and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, deploy, and manage Nutanix HCI environments (AHV, Prism, Calm, etc.).

- Lead infrastructure projects including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.

- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Nutanix solutions with enterprise systems.

- Automate infrastructure tasks using scripting and orchestration tools.

- Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex issues.

- Maintain documentation for architecture, configurations, and procedures.

- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the team.

- Stay current with Nutanix product updates, industry trends, and best practices.

- Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical expertise during customer engagements.

- Assist in solution design and presentations for potential clients.

- Support pre-sales activities by addressing technical inquiries and demonstrating Nutanix solutions.

- Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and propose tailored Nutanix solutions.

 

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- 5 to 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with at least 3 years focused on advanced Nutanix technologies.

- Strong hands-on experience with Nutanix AHV, Prism Central, and AOS.

- Advanced proficiency in virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, or AHV).

- Solid understanding of networking, storage, and data center operations.

- Experience with automation tools (PowerShell, Python, Ansible, etc.).

- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions in Nutanix environments.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) or higher certification.

-Industry Certifications in the following areas: MCSA, MCSE, VCAP, VCIX, CCNA, CCIA, and RHCE

- Experience with Nutanix Calm, Flow, or Xi Leap.

- Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).

- Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, SolarWinds, or Nagios.
