We are seeking an experienced AWS Engineer to join our team of cloud professionals supporting high-impact Federal Government projects, including initiatives with the CDC and U.S. Navy. This role will focus on building and supporting secure, scalable, and automated solutions in a multi-cloud environment, collaborating with other engineers to deliver enterprise-class infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure supporting multi-cloud enrollment projects.

  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and automation tools.

  • Collaborate with team members to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available solutions.

  • Integrate AWS services with other public cloud environments (Azure, GCP) as required.

  • Apply security best practices to meet Federal compliance requirements (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST).

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal reliability.

  • Document architectures, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing.

  • Support testing, validation, and deployment of cloud-based workloads.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen (required for Federal project eligibility).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • AWS Certification (one of the following is required):

    • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional

    • AWS Certified Security – Specialty

    • AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, IAM, etc.).

  • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform).

  • Experience working in a team environment delivering solutions for enterprise clients.

  • Strong understanding of security principles, networking, and compliance frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Security Clearance
  • Experience supporting Federal Government agencies (CDC, DoD, Navy preferred).

  • Familiarity with FedRAMP, DISA STIGs, and other federal compliance requirements.

  • Experience with multi-cloud architecture and integrations.

  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless technologies.

  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
