We are looking for a talented and ambitious Sr. Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant who will be responsible for analyzing our past transactions and present valuable information about our company’s performance. In this position, you will also be expected to give advice, audit accounts and provide trustworthy information about financial records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

·         Supporting transactional velocity and accuracy in accounting functions

·         Accurately perform periodic accounting tasks on the appropriate timelines

·         Daily MasterTax processing (PTS upload, generating daily payment files, etc)

·         Timely & accurate remittance of all Partners PEO and client tax liabilities

·         Research & resolve variances in support of period close and continuous improvement activities

·         Remittance of WC liabilities and related reporting

·         Updating and maintaining monthly work papers in accordance with closing schedule

·         Analysis of vendor invoices for client billing

·         Entry of both short-term (Bill Pending) and long-term (Billing Rules) client billing items

·         Maintenance of accounting tools (SOPs, Job Aids, Forms, Notes, Training Materials)

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field

·         2-3 years minimum experience in a professional accounting role

·         Proficiency in using Quickbooks online required - 2 years minimum experience

·         Problem solving skills and highly analytical

·         Strong critical thinking skills

·         Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and precision in all tasks

·         Excellent organizational and time management skills

·         Desire to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies

·         Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment

Compensation:

·         $80-100k/yr + full benefits
