Compensation Range: $120K-$150K

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as the Director of Communications & Brand Management. This pivotal role is responsible for crafting and executing innovative communication strategies that elevate our brand, foster stakeholder engagement, and amplify brand visibility. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a talent for media relations, and a passion for impactful storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute a strategic communication plan and brand management strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead internal and external communications, including press releases, media relations, social media, and company newsletters.
  • Ensure brand image consistency across all platforms and manage brand-related artwork.
  • Forge and nurture relationships with sales teams, media outlets, industry influencers, and key stakeholders.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities for increased brand exposure on local, national, and international levels.
  • Support customer visits, media events, and industry gatherings as needed.
  • Spearhead brand positioning efforts to enhance recognition and loyalty.
  • Develop proactive crisis communication plans to address potential risks.
  • Ensure compliance with labeling regulations, accurately reflecting product details.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce compelling content.
  • Monitor and evaluate brand performance metrics to gauge the success of initiatives.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to refine communication strategies.

Food Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to all OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with GMP standards within the plant.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the Food Safety and Quality system.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in communications or public relations, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven expertise in developing successful brand management strategies, preferably in the CPG or dairy sectors.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong media relations experience, with a track record of working with both national and local media.
  • Strategic and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in the food industry is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Visual acuity for reading and computer tasks.
  • Capability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds.
