Due to an upcoming retirement, we are looking for a Service Department Leader to play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations, exceptional quality, and on-time delivery for our client. You'll lead a talented team, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement within a dynamic environment.

As a key contributor, you will:

  • Lead and empower the Service Department to achieve peak performance and exceed expectations.
  • Optimize service workflows to ensure efficient task completion and adherence to delivery schedules.
  • Champion quality and reliability by implementing and maintaining robust quality assurance processes.
  • Develop standardized work practices to enhance efficiency and consistency across the team.
  • Manage department operations effectively within budget constraints.
  • Coordinate work-in-progress and ensure smooth transitions to final release.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential delays to maintain schedules.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment through effective communication and leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing sound operating principles and company policies.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in vehicle maintenance/service operations.
  • 5+ years of proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and familiarity with CAD systems.
