2nd Shift Production Supervisor - Open due to an internal promotion. Hours 3:00pm - 12:00 am, Monday - Friday. (This is a working supervisor role)
Join this growing team. We are seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Production Supervisor with dynamic communication skills that brings several years of production supervision experience in manufacturing. This person will effectively supervise preproduction, production, and postproduction operations to achieve the highest quality for customers while meeting delivery commitments.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all manufacturing stages (pre, production, post) adhering to established procedures.
- Analyze and resolve production and process issues.
- Implement plans for capacity, materials, labor, and cost efficiency.
- Manage workflow to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Develop and deliver employee training programs.
- Maintain production systems and equipment.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics.
- Ensure a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
- Complete reports and projects on time.
- Provide performance feedback, coaching, and disciplinary actions for production staff.
- Manage production staff time clock activities.
- Lead Lean initiatives and continuous improvement efforts, supporting an ISO 9001 quality culture.
