CONSTRUCTION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a driven Associate Attorney to join their Chambers-ranked Construction Practice Group in Atlanta. This is an exciting opportunity for a construction attorney interested in negotiating contracts and dispute resolution for some of the largest real estate development projects in the nation.

 

 

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
  • Active Bar Admission in Georgia, in good standing.
  • 3–4 years of substantive experience in construction infrastructure, project development, or real estate.
  • Transactional background is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage and execute multiple complex transactions with precision and efficiency.
  • Thrives in a collaborative team setting, while also showing initiative and independence.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent legal writing, negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent real estate developers in contract negotiations for projects including airports, sports stadiums, hospitals, high-rise construction, energy infrastructure, and related developments.
  • Advise clients on dispute resolution related to construction infrastructure, project development, and real estate issues.
  • Provide strategic support throughout all phases of real estate development and construction.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of attorneys on transactional, project management, and litigation matters for construction projects.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: $250,000 – $275,000, commensurate with experience.
