MASS TORT & PRODUCT LIABILITY ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Our client, a prominent AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking an experienced Mass Tort & Product Liability Associate Attorney to join their nationally-recognized Litigation Practice Group in Minneapolis. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-to-senior level litigator to take on a leadership role in high-profile, complex matters with significant client exposure and growth potential.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Minnesota, in good standing.
• 4–7 years of substantive litigation experience, with a focus on mass tort and product liability litigation.
• Experience with class actions, multidistrict litigation (MDL), or other large-scale litigation is a plus.
• Ability to take the lead on discovery, motion practice, and client communication.
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively on complex matters.
• Soft Skills: Strong case management, writing, and oral advocacy skills. The ideal candidate has excellent judgment, professionalism, and client service orientation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or play a central role in defending clients in mass tort, product liability, and related complex litigation matters.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions and manage complex discovery.
• Take and defend depositions, including expert and corporate witness depositions.
• Participate in trial preparation and proceedings, including developing strategy and witness preparation.
• Manage junior associates and collaborate with partners and co-counsel.
• Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and strategic counsel.
• Contribute to business development and mentoring within the practice group.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive compensation: includes an annual salary range of $200,000-$240,000, commensurate with experience, alongside eligibility for profit-sharing and a discretionary bonus.
