We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and leadership skills, the ability to handle a variety of tasks efficiently, and a positive, adaptable attitude. While prior legal experience is a plus, a willingness to learn and grow within the field is equally valued.
Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and legal staff
Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence and legal documents
Maintain client files and ensure accurate and timely data entry
Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and empathy
Schedule appointments, hearings, and client meetings
Manage office supplies and maintain a well-organized work environment
Communicate effectively with clients, court staff, and other professionals
Assist with the preparation and filing of bankruptcy petitions and related documentation
Support office operations to ensure smooth day-to-day functionality
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to take initiative
High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and legal concepts
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office technology
Experience in a legal or bankruptcy office is a plus, but not required
Motivated self-starter with a professional demeanor
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Eagerness to grow with the firm and contribute to its continued success
