Senior CNC Machinist – Afternoon Shift

KIT Recruitment is seeking a senior CNC machinist to join our client located in Toronto who is a leading manufacturer specializing in the high-precision machining of engine and nuclear pressure vessel components. Role Details:

·       Hourly Rate : $33/hour

·       Schedule: Afternoon Shift – 4:30 pm – 12:30 am (3-month training period on day shift)

·       Shift Premium

·       Vacation: 3 weeks

Job Responsibilities

• Precision machining of complex parts to tolerances as tight as 0.001”
• Working with high-performance materials such as Inconel, Titanium, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and written work instructions
• Utilizing manual and digital measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.) to verify part accuracy
• Collaborating with team members to meet or exceed quality and production goals

Qualifications:

• 10 -15 years of experience in a precision machining environment (aerospace preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to work with tight tolerances and detailed part specifications
• Strong knowledge of manual and digital measuring instruments
• High school diploma or GED required
• Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written
• Must be able to pass a Background Records Check and be eligible to work under the Controlled Goods Program
