This position will focus on conducting testing requirements for engineering. In addition, assisting in the preparation of plans, scripts, measures, and other items needed for testing while applying company and industry standards. Duties: Including but not limited to:
Implement test plans and strategies for functionality, integrity, and regression testing of hardware with direction.
Participate in design reviews to produce test plans and test cases.
Create and execute manual and automated test plans and procedures.
Manage test data corresponding to the testing approach applied.
Troubleshoot defects and manage defect tracking and resolution processes to ensure a consistent, documented process is followed.
Fully document any unexpected anomalies or defects identified in testing, with instructions on how to recreate them.
Ensure defects and failures are appropriately communicated to development teams for correction.
Work with technical resources to discuss and troubleshoot issues.
Manage and execute System, Functional, and Regression testing approaches.
Perform effective version control management in all aspects of documentation.
Other duties as assigned based on team needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge in electronics design including digital and analog circuits.
Experience with data acquisition setup and programming.
Familiarity with Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT) and reliability testing practices.
Experience with EMC Testing.
Strong computer skills and knowledge of electronics laboratory equipment.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.
