Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Survey Project Manager to join our team in Warren, NJ. This role demands a professional with a strong background in construction surveying and project management, who will oversee and ensure the quality of survey documents and manage the full lifecycle of multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure quality control of all survey documents, including plans, record plots, metes and bounds descriptions, and construction layout services.
• Deliver weekly progress and status reports to project stakeholders and management.
• Administer and oversee surveying activities, including staff management, technical resources, and client communications.
• Implement and uphold quality control reviews, safety protocols, and quality assurance procedures.
• Engage in business development activities to foster new and existing client relationships.
• Monitor project budgets, ensure project profitability, and manage billing reports and account collections.
• Contribute to staff development and contract preparation, maintaining accountability for project metrics.
• Represent our brand and values positively through professional conduct and communication.
• Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned to support project goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in surveying, with a minimum of 4 years in construction surveying.
• Preferred experience with vertical construction techniques.
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential.
• Strong communication, diplomacy, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex documents and drawings.
• Competency in using technical software and other business applications.
• Proven track record in business development and leadership.
• A driven and success-oriented mindset.
