Business Development Senior Manager (Fire Protection Industry)
Role Overview:
This dynamic role requires a seasoned Business Development Manager with expertise in the fire protection industry. The successful candidate will excel in selling and providing expert advice on a range of fire protection engineering services. These services encompass consulting, system design, testing, inspection, maintenance programs, and third-party certifications. A comprehensive understanding of fire protection codes is essential, along with a keen ability to identify and capitalize on upselling opportunities, extending beyond clients’ initial requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement national go-to-market strategies for fire consulting services.
- Manage and expand a portfolio of new business opportunities, driving them to successful closure.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships with developers, REITs, architects, and property owners.
- Shape proposals, pricing, scopes, and delivery strategies to meet client needs.
- Collaborate with technical leaders and partner design/install firms.
- Contribute to the service mix development and geographic expansion strategies.
Candidate Profile:
- Ambitious fire protection industry professional eager to build and grow within an evolving environment.
- Demonstrates agility and effectiveness in ambiguous scenarios.
- Possesses strong leadership skills with a proven ability to develop strategic initiatives.
- Exhibits robust commercial acumen and instinct.
- Holds a Professional Engineer (PE) Certification.
