About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Sales Executive specializing in the fire protection industry. This role offers a unique opportunity to take immediate ownership of a well-established $5 million service portfolio, focusing on driving growth, managing key accounts, and delivering comprehensive fire protection solutions. This is a strategic leadership position designed for advancement into senior executive roles, including potential progression to General Manager or President.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage and expand an existing $5 million portfolio of client accounts.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase market share and revenue.
  • Foster strong client relationships through solution-oriented engagement and technical expertise.
  • Oversee quoting, estimating, and contract negotiations to ensure profitable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and field teams to ensure quality delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead by example in fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to long-term organizational leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in the fire protection industry with deep technical knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, suppression systems, pumps, tanks, and alarm systems.
  • Proven background in installations, service, repair, and maintenance solutions.
  • Strong understanding of NFPA codes and compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated success in sales management, account growth, and client retention.
  • Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills, with a focus on developing teams.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets and project profitability.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be willing to work on-site in Houston, TX.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
