Queens, New York | Full-Time | Elevator Installation and Maintenance

Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative with at least 5 years of experience in the independent elevator industry to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone with a proven track record of selling elevator services, strong technical knowledge of elevator systems, and an established network within the New York elevator market. This is a local hire position; candidates must reside in or near Queens, NY and possess deep familiarity with the NYC metropolitan area.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities in elevator installation, modernization, and maintenance contracts.
· Manage and expand existing customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and liaison between clients and internal departments.
· Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop tailored elevator solutions and project proposals.
· Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, estimates, and bids.
· Conduct site visits, evaluate client needs, and ensure solutions are in compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
· Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor activity, and local industry regulations.
· Represent Centennial Elevator Industries professionally in all dealings with customers, vendors, and industry partners.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 5 years of experience with an independent elevator company in a sales, business development, or account management role.
· In-depth knowledge of elevator systems, services, and NYC elevator regulations.
· Strong existing relationships with building owners, property managers, and facilities teams in the NYC area.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
· Comfortable with CRM tools, estimating software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the five boroughs as needed.
· Residency in Queens or a nearby NYC borough is required.
