A local CPA firm is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to assist with client bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting support. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of QuickBooks Desktop and basic accounting principles. This position offers flexible hours and an opportunity to work in a professional, team-oriented environment.
 
Responsibilities For Part-Time Bookkeeper:

  • Maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients

  • Enter transactions and reconcile bank, credit card, and other accounts

  • Process accounts payable and receivable

  • Assist with payroll entry and related filings

  • Prepare basic financial reports and assist with month-end close

  • Communicate with clients and team members to gather necessary documentation

  • Support accountants with tax preparation and reporting as needed

 
Qualifications For Part-Time Bookkeeper:
  • 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred

  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop required (QuickBooks Online a plus)

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and journal entries

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple client files accurately and efficiently

  • Excellent communication and time management skills

 
Compensation For Part-Time Bookkeeper:
$20-$23 Hourly (DOE)
