What You’ll Be Doing

As a Life Insurance Broker, you’ll serve as both a trusted advisor to your clients and the brokerage’s internal life insurance expert. You’ll take ownership of your book of business from lead generation through policy delivery and ongoing service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and generate new life and health insurance leads

  • Provide timely, customized quotes to potential clients

  • Recommend tailored insurance solutions based on client needs

  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience from first contact through follow-up

  • Build and maintain a loyal, high-retention client base

  • Identify cross-sell opportunities across all lines of insurance

  • Complete all forms, documents, and compliance requirements accurately and efficiently

  • Stay current on market underwriting guidelines and brokerage standards

  • Meet and exceed monthly sales and quality targets

What You Bring

Must-Haves:

  • LLQP license

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in life insurance sales

  • Proven track record of $15,000+ FYC annually for the last two years

  • Degree or Insurance Diploma from a recognized institution

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Reside in the Greater Ottawa Area

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable in a fully digital, fast-paced environment

Nice-to-Haves:

  • CFP, CSC, or other financial designations

  • Experience with Group Life/Health, Retirement Solutions, or Seg Funds

  • Fluency in languages beyond English

Compensation:

This is a Commission Only role with compensation based on new and renewal business. Estimated earnings by year:

  • Year 1: $50,000 – $80,000+

  • Year 2: $70,000 – $100,000+

  • Year 3: $90,000 – $120,000+
