REMOTE AFTER IN-OFFICE TRAINING IN OSHAWA
Seeking a motivated and results-driven Producer to join our team, specializing in both personal and commercial lines insurance. This is a commission-based role ideal for a self-starter with a strong sales mindset, excellent client service skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships. The Producer will be responsible for generating new business, managing a portfolio of existing clients, and contributing to the overall growth of the brokerage. This a division of a larger company. The owner is a highly successful producer himself and loves to mentor as well. The potential to learn from the best is at your fingertips. With many markets to bring your clients to, you have the freedom to do your clients justice in securing them the best rates.
Looking for someone with at least 1.5 years of experience as a RIBO-licensed Producer in ON, where you are generating your own leads and have a strong existing pipeline, a friendly and approachable attitude, and are not afraid to reach out and make those connections to close deals!
This is an excellent role for the HUNTERS out there alike. The role is strictly sales, with renewals, remarkets, and endorsements being the only service required; however, no hands-on servicing is needed. Someone who loves people, can close deals with a friendly approach to sales, is a creative and outside-of-the-box thinker, and has a take-no-for-an-answer mentality.
Compensation: 50%-50% or 60%-40%—negotiable
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a personal and commercial client portfolio, cultivating strong relationships to ensure client retention and satisfaction.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and prospecting.
Assess client insurance needs and provide tailored coverage solutions across personal and commercial lines.
Prepare quotes, proposals, and presentations for clients, clearly explaining coverage, risk, and pricing.
Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to secure competitive terms and resolve coverage issues.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, processing endorsements, and assisting with renewals.
Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets of approximately 30k to 40k or more.
Stay current with industry trends, product offerings, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Proven success in sales or insurance brokerage, preferably in personal and commercial lines.
Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a commission-based environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Valid insurance license(s) as required by jurisdiction.
Compensation:
Commission-based, uncapped earning potential.
