We are seeking a highly experienced Commercial Insurance Broker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring exceptional service and fostering long-term relationships. Working closely with Producers and support staff, you will play a key role in client retention, renewal strategy, and new business development.
Lead renewal strategy and initiate account planning 100 days in advance of policy expiry in collaboration with the Producer.
Act as the primary contact for servicing a renewal book of commercial business, ensuring accurate and timely documentation and billing.
Support client growth by identifying opportunities to expand coverage and cross-sell additional products.
Coordinate and resolve arising client issues proactively and professionally.
Attend or lead client meetings as required, supporting the Producer with marketing, proposals, and client communications.
Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and ensure compliance with brokerage workflows and procedures.
Keep current on market trends, products, and evolving client needs.
Contribute to departmental production goals by developing new business from assigned leads and existing accounts.
Participate in ongoing training, development, and industry designation programs.
Foster positive internal and external relationships to maintain a high standard of client service and teamwork.
Minimum 10+ years of Commercial Insurance experience
R.I.B.O. license (mandatory)
C.I.P. and/or C.A.I.B. designation (or working towards completion)
Post-secondary education (University or College degree preferred)
Strong understanding of policy wordings and commercial coverages
Excellent client relationship management and communication skills
Proficient in EPIC, MS Outlook, Word, Excel
Highly organized with strong problem-solving, time management, and analytical abilities
Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, professional environment
